Tough Loss in Game Against the SoCal Catch

The Barons must have been feeling the effects after a long road trip on Tuesday night’s loss against the SoCal Catch.  Anthony Nettles started on the mound allowing three runs in the first inning.  For the rest of his six-inning outing, Nettles allowed five more runs and a total of ten hits. Cade Smith RHP for the Catch, went six innings allowing only one run with six strikeouts.  The Barons’ bats were sluggish throughout the game as they only scored one run leading into the sixth inning.  Pitching the final three innings for the team, Ryan Zapata and Kris Keach. The Barons ultimately fell 8-1 to the So Cal Catch. Barons will face Catch located at Biola University July 5 start time 4:30 p.m.
