Barons Help South Win in CCL All-Star Game

The Academy had six Barons nominated to the California Collegiate League (CCL) South All-Star Game which took place at the Academy on Wednesday night. At the helm of the South squad was Barons manager Kenny Landreaux who led the team to a 10-9 win.

The Barons RHP Henry Omana started the game for the South team, pitching 1.1 innings with two strikeouts. Barons closer Reece Buska threw the ninth inning and collected two strikeouts.

Offensively for the Barons, OF Ernie De La Trinidad went 1×3 with a double and 1B Aaron Cisneros went 1×2 with one RBI.
